This year "Znaika" offers the following classes:
The classes will be held between 9:00a.m. and 2:30p.m. and accommodate children from 18 months to 14 years old.

Dear Friends,
"Znaika" is excited to announce the opening of a Russian history class "The Time Machine".
Students will travel back in time to discover the mystery of the far past and
of recent years of Russian history.
They will learn about the Russian society, way of life and culture through the
literature, theater, music, and arts.
The class is designed for 10-14 year old children and consists of three parts:
1. The early history of Russia from the beginning of the IX century, through the Rurik's coming to Novgorod, Kievan Rus', Mongol yoke and Muscovite Russia to the XVII th century.
2. Imperial Russia from Peter the Great to the House of Romanov. (XVII - XX)
3. Russia in XX th century from WWI, Russian revolution, Soviet era to the now days Russia.
The new class Russian as Second Language for adults (RSLA) is scheduled for Saturdays, 10am - 11am.
Russian School "Znaika"
is glad to announce the opening of a new
"Russian as Second Language" (RSL) class
for children ages 6-12.
The program is based on strong emphasis on the development of oral skills,
practicing vocabulary, basics of grammar, and cultural behavior.
Exiting visual teaching methods, various activities, and friendly environment
will make the learning process fun and easy for the kids.
The class is scheduled for Saturdays, 10am - 11am.
New class "Puppet theater" is opend on Saturdays, 11am - 12pm.
The class incorporates Art and Crafts, Drama, and Music in an activity that encourages playful creativity.
In this class students create hand made puppets, decoration, and a puppet show.
There is no doubt that the first years are the most important in our children's life.
Russian School " Znaika" is exited to announce the opening of a new special educational program just for children ages 1.5 - 4.
"Learning by doing curriculum" allow children to explore, create, and develop the skills needed for the future academic success.
Special music and movement, multiple activities through several developmental stages, interaction and exploration will make the learning process fascinating not only for kids, but for their parents as well.
Is there life on other planets? What is force? Why do rivers flow? What is a food web? Your children will find the answers to these and many other fascinating questions in " Znaika's" new class "Natural Science".
The class is scheduled for Saturdays (12:00-1:00 and 1:00-2:00).
